25 years CCI Eurolam GmbH in Germany

September 6th, 2012: Finally CCI Eurolam GmbH celebrated its  25th anniversary in Germany with about 60 customers, suppliers and employees from Europe, the USA and China. They started with a technical seminar with 4 interesting presentations. In the afternoon the group came to Düren for a plant visit at CCI. At the end of the very successful day, they made a Rhine shipping tour along the "Panorama-Tour" with dinner and a nice dance. Even the weather kept up - sunshine the whole day and a great sunset on board of the MS Jahn von Werth.

But from the beginning. At 9.30 a.m. the guests were well received at the art´otel in Cologne by CCI Eurolam and at 10 a.m. the very interesting course of presentations started. After a short welcoming speech by Alain Kahn, co-founder and President of the company, Angelika Muscal, Branch Manager for Germany took the participants to a short journey through time of the CCI history. " I am very proud of the development of our CCI in the course of time.", said Angelika Muscal.

Dr.-Ing. Wolfgang Pohlmann, Hella KGaA Hueck & Co. from Lippstadt gave the participants an understanding of "Innovative light systems for the automotive lighting" as well as "Thermal management for semiconductor light sources". After this, Elke Krüger, CCI Eurolam GmbH, held a presentation on behalf of Integral Technology, about materials for the next generation of PCB-foils.

Dr.-Ing. Ralf Rieske from the Technical University Dresden, Institute for Design- and Connection Methods of the Electronics, continued after a short lunch with the  "Opto-electronical PCB".

Finally Dr. Peter Demmer, Senior Research Scientist Design to Prototype, Siemens AG,  gave an overview of the  "Technology developments of Siemens AG until 2020 in consideration to the material requirements to PCBs".

After this informative day all participants were taken to CCI Eurolam in Düren. At the plant the CCI Team was waiting with a snack and a presentation of the location with plant tours in different groups.

Back in Cologne the celebration party started at 7 p.m. on board of the MS Jan von Werth, a ship on the Rhine in Cologne along the Panorama-Tour. After a short welcome by Christian Stahl, Branch Manager Düren, Bernard Bismuth, co-founder and former General Manager of the total CCI Group, took all people again to a short journey through time of the CCI history,  "I am proud that I was involved in the formation of this company with such great Team. That can bring together the strengths of the individual nationalities and complements one another. This should be an example for Europe.", said Bernard Bismuth.

Afterwards all participants could enjoy the shipping and let the evening end with good discussions and maybe some dance.

Once in a while at this evening everybody agreed: A very successful day!
